I have always combined my love of traveling with my love of cloth. Places where fabrics were woven were usually my destinations. India is a land of most beautiful silks, still woven on hand looms. Over the years I have developed close connections with many weavers in various weaving centres in India. This allows me to have fabrics woven to my own  specifications. I choose white, undyed silk of various textures. Back in my studio, I transform it  by dyeing  and printing. This allows me to create a very unique cloth.
