Bali is an island of artists. There are villages of wood carvers, and that is where my jewellery is made. Since the jackets which I create don't have buttons, they needed to have some kind of closure. A light wooden pin was a solution. Bali was just the place where the pins are hand carved and then polychromed in gold or silver. Hibiscus wood is light and durable. Besides the pins, I have designed a larger jewellery collection consisting of necklaces, bracelets , rings.
